Player Evaluation Guidelines

CMBA will hold evaluations in September provided there are sufficient numbers to warrant forming more than one team.  Each division will be evaluated during a 1.5 hour process.  The first hour will be drills and technical skill evaluations. After a short break, the players will be evaluated on game situation play 2-2, 3-3 and full court scenarios. 
 

A team of objective volunteer evaluators will consider input from potential coaches and past coaches, before dividing players into teams.  No parent or coach will be evaluating his/her own team or child.  The final team will be approved by the board and posted the following week.  Players will be notified by email of their team placement.
