Policy: Coverage of Tournament Registration Fees
Cochrane Minor Basketball Association (CMBA) encourages its players and coaches to participate in the Jessica Thiedemann Memorial Referee Training Tournament in Calgary (held in September of each year). In support of this statement, CMBA will cover the cost of the entry fee for this tournament. Depending on budget allocations, CMBA may also cover all or part of the registration fees associated with CMBA teams that attend the Basketball Alberta Provincial Tournament (note that all other expenses associated with this tournament such as travel, food and lodging are the responsibility of the team). Although teams can participate in additional tournaments, the costs associated with all other tournaments will be at the expense of the individual team(s).
